On January 29th, our mobile Cath Lab unit was delivered to Fulton County Health Center. This will be the temporary home for our Heart and Vascular Center while the current location is completely remodeled over the next 6-9 months. The mobile unit will be located outside the Emergency Department’s Ambulance Entrance and will allow FCHC to continue providing services while renovations take place.
Once the renovations are completed, FCHC will have two state-of-the-art Cath Labs. Meaning, patients will no longer need to be transported to larger hospitals. They will be able to receive care within minute’s right here in Fulton County. FCHC will be able to provide almost any heart and vascular related procedure a patient could need, with the exception of open heart surgery.
This large project is going to cost approximately 8 million dollars. The goal of the FCHC Foundation is to help offset this cost as much as possible. Your generosity fuels our impact. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to achieving our goal.
