Since opening the newly renovated Heart & Vascular Center in November 2024, FCHC has been a place of life-saving moments and medical milestones.
In just a few short months, the team has treated 21 STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) cases—patients arriving in critical condition, their hearts in distress, but leaving with a second chance at life thanks to the swift, expert care of our specialists.
In a historic first for FCHC, a LifeFlight helicopter delivered a patient directly to our facility for treatment. In the past, patients critical enough to require LifeFlight transport would have been taken elsewhere for care. Now, with our expanded capabilities, we’re able to provide advanced, life-saving treatment right here in our community.
